So i do this every year and why stop now?!

Highlights of 2005:

--Ringing in the New Year not only with my best friends, but with my cousin, Michelle!

--Going to Capstone Scholars Day at UA on Jan. 15th--we left at like 5 or 6 to get there on time and then left at 11 am so that we could drive back to hsv in time for my hair appt for Kappa Rho

--Kappa Rho (one of my high school sororities) was AMAZING! That was BY FAR the best formal i've ever been to!

--Getting kissed in lead out at Kappa Rho! So cute! what a good dance!!

--Rehearsals for LIL ABNER!

--Having a Valentine on Valentine's Day--and it being somenoe you truly love

--Getting FIRST PLACE in Group Musical for Facade, getting FIRST in Ensemble for Philip Glass...., and getting SECOND in Group Musical for Cantata for a First Date at the State Thespian Festival

--Being the Presidnet of the International Thespian Society at Grissom

--Being a lead in our musical..Mammy in Li'l Abner....such a fun show and i made so many amazing memories.

--Being the head of the TURKEYS!!!!! Wow--i love all my theatre girls..yall are amazing, PLEASE PLEASE keep the traditions alive!!!! if you dont, NOONE WILL!!!!!

--Planning Accolades with Mr. Chris Bowser and my FAVORITE neighbor (alli moy is too though ;) ) Mr. Jere Hunt....MAN THAT WAS AMAZING!! im not even gonna be modest...This accolades was by far the best ive ever seen or heard of....we so totally ROCKED THAT!!

--Going to almost all of the Grissom Soccer Games with two of my best friends to watch our boys play soccer

--Senior Prom was everythign it was cracked up to be...i had an amazing night!! and afterwards was pretty awesome tooooo!!! yay for watching movies int he backyard with a huge screen!!! :)!

--Getting bunches and bunches of scholarships from Bama!!! and then getting into RIVERSIDE WEST BABY!!!

--Having my first 6 month anniversary with someone

--Graduating from high school....what a weird feeling. i never thought that day would ever come...and it did and it was scary/fun/sad/exciting/emotional!! i remember just feeling so weird and not knowing where my life and my summer would take me!! for all you seniors---its gonna be a fun semester for yall!! remember everything! cherish everything!! live it up!! you only have one senior year of high school!! UNLESS YOU FAIL!! ;)

--All the graduation parties---gahhhhh!!! SO much fun!!! AND all the graduation PRESENTS! ahhh yes!!!

--Ah Summer!!!!! Lifeguarding and Coaching.... both very fulfilling!!! i had a blast!! i love coachign and working with little kids!! :)

--Love Perfect.....wow..there are no words to describe what an amazing ride that was....i learned so much, i grew so much, i developed and deepened my friendships and i had such an amazing time! i will never EVER forget all the people who worked iwth me on that show---whether in the cast or on tech..or in the orchestra...we made some lasting memories!!!

--Moving into school....what an emotional day for me! Mom leaving was the hardest thing ever....and then being stuck tehre feeling so alone!!!!

--I hated bama at first and i didnt know how i was going to make it!! thank goodness Chris and Katie Mc. came to visit me that first weekend..i dont know what i wouldve done wtihout yall! and then emily hoppe   (aka louise) and alliosn lott came to visit me on labor day weekend and it just made it so much better!!!

--All my friends who came to visit me and made the transition SO much easier and better..yalla re AMAZING!!! what would i do without you!??!

--ALABAMA FOOTBALL! what an amazing and unexpected season we had!!! i will forever bleed crimson and white!!! ROLL TIDE!!!

--Me and Ben's random trip to b'ham in which we left ttown at 1130 pm!!! wtf?! IT WAS AMAZING THOUGH!!

--My Acting I class---wow...i never thought it was possible to learrn so much..but i did...i feel liek i have grown so much as an actor and im SO HAPPY!

--My visits home to my family and frineds---yall rock....you keep me stable and sane..thank you!!!!

--Meeting an amazing guy!!! being soooo happy!! and also wondering what the heck i was doing last year!!!!!

--Meeting my 'twin', katie!!!! I love you girl!!! i cant wait to get back to ttown and have more twin-ness with you!!!!

--SEeing RENT AND THE PRODUCERS!! woo hooooo!! i love it!! i love YALL!

--Finding out my close-knit group of girl friends in high school was known as 'The Nine' by people bc we were so close and i guess exclusive? but not in a bad way!! we're all nice!!!

hahahaha...bet y'all didnt expect me to write in here did ya?! well, here it is....2:15 a.m. on monday, well technically tuesday......its been quite the first semester of college for this kid!!!I feel like i have learned SO much that there really arent even words!!!  Truthfully,  I was dreading going off to college--it scared the heck outta me. the whole going out on your own (well kinda) and not having anybody to pick up the pieces when you fall apart (bc we ALL know how dramatic i am!!!) thing really really scared me!!!! And the truth is, it definitely took some adapting time! SO FOR ALL YOU SENIORS: GIVE IT TIME!!!

I was so ready to come home every single time i did---and when i did come home, i didtn want to go back. in fact, i cried like a silly little baby because there really is NOTHING like home sweeet home.  and there never will be.  BUT....there is also NOTHIGN like college!! (not that i have that much experience with it yet haha..its only the 1st semester; nonetheless, i am sharing my wisdom bc GOSH DARN IT ITS MY XANGA!)  This is the first time i have come home that i actually miss tuscaloosa and i dont think of it as hell.  I am such a homebody and i always will be, but now i finally have my own life there. i have my own group of friends, a theatre family, a boyfriend there, most of my stuff there......its a big part of me that's there.......but im gonna disagree with benjamin holmes on this next thing: home is NOT where your clothes are. home is where your HEART is...and my heart will ALWAYS be in huntsville..or wherever my family and closest friends are.  I have had a rocky semester---school is sooo hard, but i am learning so much!!! there is no slacking or getting your way outta stuff in college, but thats good!! we arre slowly, but surely becoming self-sufficient, independent adults.. i am not there yet. i am working on it. but i sure am having a great time while doing it!! i love college and for anyone trying to make that final decision on where to go: PICK BAMA! it really is amazing..ive been other places in state and this one DEFINITELY wins!!!

On a lighter (well kinda) note, i hurt my back so i have been in bed for like 3 days!!! it sucks but at least im not dead!!! I LOVE YOU ALL! MERRY CHRISTMAS! call me sometime!!! sorry its so long!! everyoen have a great dayyyy!

Wow...okay so its been quite a while since I last updated!!!!! But to my favorite will cooper's request, i will update!! Well this summer has been quite eventful!!! i did a show-"i love you, you're perfect, now change!!" and i must say it was quite amazing!!We did 11 performances at everest theatre, then bc of the success of the show (and a newspaper article) we did 2 encore performances and then another run at Renaissance Theatre at the beg. of August! It was awesome! im definetly gonna miss each and everyone of my fellow cast members---we all got so close this summer!! i love it!!

i also helped out with HCCA'S Grease this summer!!! i met alot of cool cats there!! some faves are:

Those are all fave new people that i had never met really!! so cheers to yall! you made my fave new people list! im so glad i got to hang with yall

And to my 'old' friends- y'all rock..i thouroughly enjoyed spending more time with yall this summer!! it made it so much more pleasurable! so all you xanga=ers that i already know--you guys rock!

And there are just a few people that i spent the entire summer with but its no use naming them bc most of them dont ever get on here--but if you ever do, you know who you are and i love you dearly and im gonna miss you like CRAZY CAKES!

well kids...here i am...3 days away from the big move! i cant belive im really leaving for school..its so scary and there are alot things that freak me out!!! like the fact that these are supposed to be 'the best years of my life'..i mean thats alot of expectation to have..and the fact that now that i know that these 'best years' are starting, they are sure to end! AH!  whatev! this entry was already too long...

Well the last time i posted was in jan....and now here i am with 5 days left in high school.  and im so sad....Now dont get me wrong...i am super exctied about graduating and college....but i truly am sad...after this i wont be a kid anymore. and i guess i just understand early on that beign a kid is the most fun and easiest part of life! This year has by far been the best of all my school years!! i have made new amazing friends, i am with an amazinggggggg guy who has helped me grow in so many ways, i have grown as a person, and i have truly found a group of friends that are AMAZING!  its just gonna be so hard to leave all of that and journey some place completely different.  its just weird...ill adapt i know....its just hard

WOW! its crazy to think that its been like 3 months since i last posted! haha but now its 2005! HOW NUTS IS THAT!? we graduate this year...saddd!! but happy! so its always nice to reflect on the past year..so here goes!!

3.seeing my cousins from massachusetts i havent seen in 4 years!!

4. settling for bama, but knowing that i will end up in NYC!!

5.ringing in 2004 with all of my girls, plus the random guys taht showed up at malos!!

6. my new bible study group!!

7.Two new relationships that have made me very happy lately!! Bert and Ernie trace!! BA BA BA!!

8. becoming closer with God and my awesome older sister!!

9.  Getting an A in math!!

10.grrreeeeeen!!!hahah byrd!!

11.cheering and then NOT cheering...i love being a senior!! its the bestest!!

12. LOVING grissom, but also loving that i graduate in MAYYY!!
